Mel is taking part in The Global Challenge, starting in September 2004. Ten teams will race, against the prevailing winds and currents, in identical 72-foot ocean racing yachts. The race will start and finish in the UK, with stopovers in Boston, Buenos Aires, Wellington, Sydney, Cape Town and La Rochelle. |
